Restoration of the Saint-Marie Madeleine Church in Mons: Alpi Safety, experts in working at height

The Saint-Marie Madeleine Church in Mons, an important historical building, recently required intervention to resolve a waterproofing issue with its roof, which had become vulnerable due to wear and tear over time and the elements. To protect this precious heritage, Alpi Safety came up with a tailored solution.

Thanks to a team of experienced climbers specialized in working at height, Alpi Safety installed protective tarpaulins on the most exposed areas of the roof. These experts, trained in climbing and safety techniques, were able to access difficult-to-access parts of the church to install the tarpaulins without causing any damage to the structure.

This intervention, carried out professionally and quickly, makes it possible to secure the church while awaiting future, more comprehensive restoration work. Thanks to the mountaineers' expertise, the building is now protected, ensuring its preservation until sustainable solutions are implemented.
